The Israeli occupation police on Thursday arrested a Palestinian girl child from the east Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah whose residents are facing Israeli displacement threats.
According to local sources police officers arrested 14-year-old Nafoud Hammad at the main entrance to the neighborhood on a charge of drawing the Palestine flag on children’s faces.
She was taken to a police detention center in Salahuddin street in the holy city where she was questioned before releasing her.
Her family said that an Israeli interrogator threatened her but she told him that he was a liar and his threat did not scare her.
