The Jerusalemites along with the guards of al-Aqsa Mosque continued their sit-in at the gates of al-Aqsa Mosque protesting the Israeli restrictions on the entry of some of the guards into the holy site and the Israeli refusal to open Hetta gate.
The PIC reporter revealed that Israeli police handed over the list of names of the banned guards and other Jerusalemites from accessing the holy shrine.
A state of tension has been prevailing in the vicinity of al-Aqsa’s gates after the Israeli imposition of new restrictions. However this has followed the removal of the metal detectors and security cameras that were installed at the entrances to the Muslims’ third holiest sacred place in the world.
