A Jewish settler died and 22 others were wounded in two separate explosions targeting bus stations in Occupied Jerusalem on Wednesday morning.
Israeli medical sources said they received 22 settlers wounded in the incident among them one critically and two seriously.
An explosion at a station at the exit from Jerusalem killed one settler and injured several others and a separate blast at another station a short distance away destroyed a bus and wounded three others the hospitals treating the casualties said.
While the cause was still being determined the incident came as tensions are running high in the occupied territories following months of Israeli raids in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.
More than 130 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank and Jerusalem this year so far making 2022 the deadliest year since 2006.
