Hordes of fanatic Jewish settlers on Sunday morning assaulted Palestinian farmers and obstructed their access to their olive fields west of Nablus city.
Local anti-settlement activist Ghassan Daghlas reported that settlers from Havat Gilad outpost brutalized dozens of olive harvesters in the areas of Jeet Sarah and Far’ata.
Daghlas affirmed that there was prior coordination with the Israeli military authorities to allow the farmers to reach their olive groves for the harvest.
He also said that skirmishes broke out between the farmers and the unruly settlers before Israeli soldiers intervened and provided protection for the latter adding that the soldiers prevented some farmers from going to their fields and forced them to return home.
