A group of Jewish settlers attacked Palestinian vehicles in the northern Jordan Valley northeast of the West Bank on Sunday.
Local sources reported that Jewish settlers gathered at the crossroad of Ein El Hilweh and blocked the street that connects different areas of the Jordan Valley imposing restrictions on the movement of Palestinians and attacking their vehicles.
In a related development Jewish settlers from the illegal settlement of Beit El protected by Israeli occupation forces hurled stones at the Palestinian vehicles near the northern entrance of the West Bank city of al-Bireh.
The Jordan Valley which constitutes about 25% of the West Bank area is systematically targeted by the Israeli occupation authorities since its occupation in 1967.
