Jewish settlers attacked Palestinian citizens while they were picking olives in Khilat Hassan area west of Biddya town west of the West Bank city of Salfit on Monday.
“A group of Jewish settlers assaulted us while we were harvesting olives” the Palestinian citizen Arafat Abu Saif told WAFA news agency.
He added that one of the settlers fired live bullets at them but no injuries were reported.
Earlier in the morning hundreds of Jewish settlers protected by Israeli police organized a provocative tour in the Old City of Jerusalem.
Jewish settlers have been escalating their attacks against Palestinian farmers across the occupied West Bank since the beginning of the olive harvest season.
