Hordes of extremist Jewish settlers on Saturday attacked Palestinian homes and citizens in Einabus village south of Nablus and at-Tuwanah village south of al-Khalil.
Local official Ghassan Daghlas said that settlers from the illegal settlement of Yitzhar hurled stones at homes in the northern area of Einabus village before local residents confronted them and managed to fend them off.
On Friday a local young man from Einabus was detained by Israeli soldiers after they opened fire at him and wounded him as he was walking in an area near Yitzhar settlement.
In al-Khalil settlers from the illegal outpost of Havat Ma’on hurled stones at homes opened fire at them and set fire to two tents in at-Tuwanah village in Masafer Yatta.
Chief of the village council Mohamed Rab’iee said that the settlers launched their attack under military protection which caused panic among the local residents.
Rab’iee appealed to local and international organizations to work on protecting at-Tuwanah villagers and curb the settler attacks against them.
The same settlers also physically assaulted local official Fuaad al-Amour coordinator of the protection and steadfastness committees in Masafer Yatta and southern al-Khalil. He suffered multiple injuries and was rushed by a Red Crescent ambulance crew to Martyr Abul-Hasan al-Qasem Hospital in Yatta.
Meanwhile many Tuwanah residents suffered from their exposure to tear gas after Israeli forces attacked them and their homes in the village.
