Thursday 20-January-2022

Jewish settlers from the illegal outpost of Ahiya on Thursday morning started to bulldoze swaths of land in southern Nablus near Jalud town in southern Nablus.

Local official Ghassan Daghlas said that Ahiya settlers using bulldozers embarked on leveling about five dunums of land in Jabel Arrus area which is located 200 meters away from Jalud town.

Daghlas added that the bulldozing activity is aimed at expanding the settler outpost.

In a separate incident an Israeli court decided to freeze the demolition of a Mosque under construction in the east Jerusalem district of Issawiya until February 14.

On January 3 Israeli police forces stormed the area where the Mosque is located and threatened to demolish it through an administrative order if the local residents continued to build it.
