Jewish settlers on Tuesday called for organizing a mass storming of the village of Nabi Samuel and its mosque northwest of Occupied Jerusalem next Friday.
About 10000 Jewish settlers are planning to participate in the raid which is scheduled on the 2nd of September.
According to Safa news agency the residents of the village called on Jerusalemites to intensify their presence in the village in order to confront the Jewish settlers and protect the residents from the repeated settlers’ attacks.
Nabi Samuel village has been marginalized after Israel’s construction of the Apartheid Wall in the West Bank. The residents of the village describe it as a small forgotten prison where basic human needs are not met.
Moreover the mosque of the village was subjected to continuous Israeli attacks as it was set on fire and barbed wire fence and monitoring cameras were installed around it in addition to banning its restoration in an attempt to turn it into a touristic attraction and a national park.
