Dozens of Jewish settlers stormed on Tuesday morning the courtyards of the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque under Israeli police protection.
Jerusalemite sources reported that 89 settlers broke into the Al-Aqsa Mosque in groups.
Jewish settlers began storming Al-Aqsa from the Maghareba Gate and roamed in the Mosque’s courtyards and performed Talmudic rituals according to the sources.
The Israeli police evacuated the eastern region of the Mosque from Muslim worshipers to facilitate the incursion of settlers.
The settler incursions are part of periodic tours aiming to change the fait accompli in the Holy City and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Calls continue for all Muslims in 1948 Occupied Palestine and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to intensify their presence at Al-Aqsa Mosque to confront the Jewish settlers’ incursions.
The Israeli occupation authority targets Jerusalemites with arrests deportation orders and fines with the aim of dissuading them from frequenting the Al-Aqsa Mosque and leaving it an easy prey for Israeli settlers.
