Dozens of Jewish settlers government officials and rabbis desecrated the holy Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem on Tuesday under police protection.

The Awkaf department in the holy city said that dozens of settlers stormed the holy Islamic site accompanied by rabbis and heavy police escort.

It said that the settlers and rabbis performed Talmudic rituals in the eastern area of the Mosque Compound and listened to “fake stories about the alleged Temple” from the rabbis.

It concluded its terse statement saying that Israeli government officials also today broke into the Qibli mosque and provocatively toured its interior area.

Dozens of Jewish settlers desecrated the holy Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem on Tuesday morning under Israeli police protection.

Jerusalemite sources said that the settlers broke into the Aqsa Compound in groups and embarked on provocative tours of the holy Islamic site.

They said that the groups of settlers who included students of religious institutes performed Talmudic rituals at the eastern area of the Compound near the Dome of the Rock.

The Israeli occupation police restrict movement of Jerusalemites in in their own city and in the Old City and the Aqsa Mosque’s vicinity in particular during the settlers’ incursions.

A Hamas media office report said that 2365 settlers had defiled the Aqsa Mosque Compound during the month of November while six Palestinians were ordered not to enter the holy Islamic site during the same period.

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (PIC)– Jewish settlers entered the Aqsa Mosque on Sunday morning and roamed its courtyards under tight Israeli police security measures.

Meanwhile the Israeli police are permanently blocking the entry of some Muslim female worshipers who used to maintain vigil inside the Mosque despite the absence of an official decision to this effect.

Israeli policemen at the gates of the holy site withhold the IDs of Muslims worshipers who enter the site and return them only at their departure.

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (PIC)– Dozens of Jewish settlers broke into the holy Aqsa mosque in occupied Jerusalem on Sunday morning under Israeli police protection.

Local sources said that 50 settlers barged into the holy compound from the Maghareba gate to celebrate Pesach a Jewish feast that started on Friday and ends in eight days’ time.

The Jewish settlers danced and reveled near the Silsila gate.

The Israeli occupation police were deployed in the holy city to protect settlers’ celebrations of Pesach (Passover).
