A horde of extremist Jewish settlers on Sunday wreaked havoc on an olive grove and demolished agricultural walls in Yasuf village northeast of Salfit province in the occupied West Bank.
Salfit mayor Abdullah Kameel said that settlers from the illegal settlement of Rechelim chopped off and uprooted 42 productive olive trees in the agricultural area of al-Mahawer lands.
Kameel added that the settlers also destroyed retaining stone walls in the same area.
He affirmed that the competent authorities in the province would move legally to hold the assailants accountable and expose such violations at all levels.
