A horde of extremist Jewish settlers deployed several mobile homes on a tract of land in Asira al-Qibliya village southwest of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
According to local sources settlers from the illegal settlement of Yitzhar placed at least three prefabricated homes near the house of Abdul-Baset Uhud in the southern area of the village.
Local residents said that Israeli soldiers were providing protection for those settlers expressing fears that such step could be a prelude to establishing a new illegal outpost in their village.
