A horde of Jewish settlers on Sunday rebuilt an outpost for themselves in Birin area of Yatta City south of al-Khalil.
Local official Rateb al-Jabour said that settlers embarked in the morning on rebuilding the outpost which local residents already demolished in Birin area near the illegal settlement of Pnei Hever.
Jabour added that local residents stood in the face of concrete mixer trucks as they were heading for the outpost before Israeli forces stormed the area and declared it a closed military zone.
He warned that the settlers plan to connect the outpost site with illegal settlements in the east of Yatta.
Meanwhile another group of settlers in the morning started to fence the Ein al-Hilweh spring in the northern Jordan Valley which they seized several months ago.
Local sources said that the settlers prevented local shepherds from reaching the area of the spring to water their cattle.
Recently the same settlers hurled rocks at the shepherds and their cows to prevent them from approaching the spring.
They also planted many trees around Ein al-Hilweh and built a nearby room as well as a makeshift road connecting their settlement with the spring.
