Jewish settlers on Wednesday took over an apartment that belonged to a Palestinian citizen in Wadi al-Rababa neighborhood in the east Jerusalem district of Silwan south of the Aqsa Mosque.
According to the Wadi Hilweh Information Center settlers stormed the apartment under police protection and embarked on installing an iron door on the entrance stairs.
There was no further information about how the settlers seized the house from its owner.
In recent months Jewish settlers took over two homes in Wadi Hilweh neighborhood in Silwan after their Jerusalemite owners reportedly sold them to the Ateret Cohanim settler group and vanished without anyone noticing them.
