AL-KHALIL (PIC)– Jewish settlers stormed the village of Halhul to the north of Al-Khalil under protection of the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Tuesday and offered rituals.
Sources in the village said that the settlers tried to break into the Nabi Yunis mosque at the pretext it included Jewish relics.
In another incident a Jewish settler fired gunshots at Palestinian shepherds in Yatta village to the east of Al-Khalil.
Eyewitnesses said that the settler tried to steal a number of sheep heads but when confronted with the shepherds he fled the scene while firing at them.
