A horde of extremist Jewish settlers on Thursday evening stormed the eastern area of Urif village south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank and brutalized Palestinian shepherds.
Urif chief Mazen Shahada reported that settlers from the illegal settlement of Yitzhar assaulted shepherds during their presence in the eastern area of the village but local residents intervened and fended off the assailants.
Shahada told Quds Press that Israeli soldiers rushed to the area to provide protection for the settlers and managed to secure their withdrawal to Yitzhar settlement.
