JENIN (PIC)– Islamic Jihad prisoners in Megiddo jail have vowed to continue in their hunger strike which they started a week ago in solidarity with Jihad leader Sheikh Khader Adnan.
Sources quoting relatives of Jihad leader Tarek Qadan who is held in Megiddo jail told the PIC on Wednesday that all Jihad prisoners in ward 8 were on hunger strike since last Thursday.
They said that the prisoners would only end their strike when all demands of Sheikh Adnan are met.
Sheikh Adnan was arrested at the hands of Israeli occupation forces in December 2011 and after cruel investigation rounds was held in administrative detention.
He went on hunger strike ever since his arrest 46 days ago in protest against the violent interrogation methods then against the arbitrary administrative detention sentence.
