The Jordanian ministry of foreign affairs has warned that Israel’s escalation of its aggressive practices in the occupied Palestinian territories “portend the worst to come.”
In a press release on Friday the foreign ministry raised the alarm over the gravity of the situation in the occupied territories saying that the events could escalate due to the occupation state’s persistence in targeting Palestinian citizens including women and children.
Spokesman for the ministry Haitham Abul-Ful pointed out that Israel’s escalation of its aggression against the Palestinians in the occupied territories is coupled with growing settler violations at the Aqsa Mosque.
The spokesman stressed the need for the occupation state to put an end to its aggressive and provocative practices in Jerusalem and the West Bank including the settler break-ins at the Aqsa Mosque in order to stop the spiral of violence and maintain comprehensive calm.
