The Jordanian ministry of foreign affairs has condemned the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) for demolishing a Palestinian home and a commercial facility in the east Jerusalem district of Silwan.
“[Israel’s] demolition and displacement campaigns are unacceptable and condemned considered a violation of the international law the international humanitarian law and Israel’s obligations as an occupying power and obstruct international and regional efforts to firm up the truce” the foreign ministry said in a press release on Tuesday.
The ministry called on Israel to necessarily stop its illegal plans provocative practices and assaults in Silwan and Sheikh Jarrah and respect the legal and historical status quo in the occupied holy city.
