Jordan’s King Abdullah II has reiterated the centrality of the Palestinian cause and the need for more international efforts to reach a lasting peace on the basis of the two-state solution.
The Jordanian King made his remarks during his meeting on Sunday in the Norwegian capital Oslo with the country’s prime minister Jonas Gahr Store.
King Abdullah affirmed that the two-state solution must lead to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on June 4 1967 lines with east Jerusalem as its capital.
He expressed his appreciation for Norway’s ongoing support for UNRWA to enable it to continue delivering essential services to the Palestinian refugees according to Jordan News Agency.
