Jordan’s trade unions strongly condemn Israeli aggressions at al-Aqsa

Jordanian trade unions urged the Arabs and Muslim to take serious measures in response to the Israeli violations at and around Jerusalem’s holy Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Jordanian trade unions have called for a firm position regarding Israel’s illegal practices at al-Aqsa Mosque and for boosting Jordan’s position as the custodian of Islamic and Christian holy sites in occupied Jerusalem.

President of the General Federation of Jordanian Trade Unions Abdul Hadi al-Falahat denounced the Israeli violations that occurred on Monday inside al-Aqsa Mosque and near the Dome of the Rock Mosque where the Israeli occupation forces used excessive force against the Muslim worshipers cordoned off the Dome of the Rock and prevented worshipers from performing their prayers.

He added that the director of the mosque was injured and transferred to a hospital after he fell in a faint in the escalation.

The unions said the escalation makes part of a systematic series of assaults aiming to impose a new fait accompli at Al-Aqsa a crime over which the international community should not keep silent.
