Wednesday 5-July-2017

Vice president of the international committee for the support of the rights of the Palestinian people Wesam Joudeh held the Palestinian government legally responsible for the health crisis in the blockaded Gaza Strip. She called for neutralizing the sick people from political disputes.

Joudeh opined that Israeli offensive practices and illegal and immoral measure pursued by the Palestinian Authority have led to unprecedented deterioration of the health conditions in the besieged coastal enclave.

In her speech delivered during a sit-in that was staged on Wednesday by women of Hamas Movement in Gaza Joudeh slammed the Ramallah’s government for refusing inter-hospital transfers for unjustified reasons. The sit-in was held before the solidarity tent with Gazan patients who are banned from travel.

The number of inter-hospital transfers that were rejected by the government was over 1750. 14 Patients have died because of not being allowed to travel abroad for treatment in light of the current health crisis Joudeh highlighted.

For her part the Hamas female leader Kifah al-Rantisi held Israeli occupation authorities as well as Palestinian Authority’s President Mahmoud Abbas along with al-Hamdallah’s government responsible in full for the aggravating suffering of the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip.

Rantisi stressed that Palestinian resistance will continue exerting efforts for lifting the siege on Gaza.
