Detained Journalist Alaa al-Rimawi director of al-Quds satellite channel has sent a letter confirming his determination to continue his hunger strike in protest at his illegal detention and Israel’s persistence in maltreating Palestinian journalists.
In his letter Rimawi said that he would not stop his hunger strike until the Israeli occupation authority ended what he described at the massacre of detaining journalists.
He called on all local and international media institutions to stand against Israel’s “barbaric policy” against the Palestinian journalists.
The Israeli occupation forces kidnapped Rimawi and three other journalists two days ago in the West Bank.
Another journalist called Mohamed Anwer was also taken prisoner at dawn Wednesday during an IOF campaign in Zawata town west of Nablus.
