The Palestinian minister of health Mai al-Kaila announced on Sunday that 14 deaths 4319 new cases of coronavirus were recorded during the past 24 hours.
The minister said in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that 4880 recovery cases were recorded in the same period adding that six deaths were recorded in the West Bank and eight others in the Gaza Strip.
She pointed out that 106 critically ill patients were admitted to intensive care units while 269 others were being treated in the West Bank’s COVID-19 sections in various hospitals including 26 who have been placed on ventilators.
The recovery rate of the coronavirus reached 87.4 percent while the rate of active infections reached 11.7 percent and the death rate was 0.9 percent of all infections the minister concluded.
