Mai Al-Kailah the Palestinian Minister of Health announced on Tuesday that 13 deaths 1828 new cases of the coronavirus and 1614 recoveries were recorded during the past 24 hours.
Kailah confirmed in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that 13 deaths were recorded in the West Bank: Jericho and Al-Aghwar 1 al-Khalil 5 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 2 Tulkarem 3 Nablus 1 and Jenin 1.
She said that the new infections were distributed according to the following: Nablus 337 Salfit 82 al-Khalil 385 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 302 Tulkarem 112 Bethlehem 140 Qalqilya 92 Jerusalem suburbs 78 Jenin 89 Tubas 42 Jericho and Al-Aghwar 34 and the Gaza Strip 135.
The new recoveries were recorded as follows: Nablus 97 Salfit 80 al-Khalil 338 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 436 Tulkarem 89 Bethlehem 190 Qalqilya 25 Jerusalem suburbs 142 Jenin 54 Tubas 35 Jericho and Al-Aghwar 15 and the Gaza Strip 113 the minister added.
Kailah pointed out that there are 155 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 39 who have been placed on ventilators.
She noted that the recovery rate of coronavirus reached 89.0 percent while the rate of active infections reached 9.9 percent and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
