Mai Al-Kailah the Palestinian Minister of Health announced on Tuesday that 14 deaths 660 cases of coronavirus and 588 recoveries have been recorded during the last 24 hours after conducting 4731 examinations in West Bank Jerusalem and Gaza Strip.
Kailah stated in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that nine deaths were recorded in the West Bank three in Gaza and two in Jerusalem.
She noted that the deaths were distributed as follows: eight male citizens aged between 45 and 89 years and six females between the ages of 16 and 88.
The new infections were distributed according to the following: al-Khalil (48) Nablus (111) Bethlehem (67) Qalqilya (16) Ramallah and Al-Bireh (57) Jenin (36) Jericho and Al-Aghwar (2) Salfit (16) Tulkarem (26) Tubas (5) the Gaza Strip (191) the suburbs of Jerusalem (9) and Jerusalem (76) the minister added.
Kailah said that 40 new recoveries were recorded in Jerusalem 359 in the northern provinces and 189 in the southern provinces.
Cases of recovery were recorded in: al-Khalil 74 Jenin 24 Nablus 117 Tulkarem 12 Salfit 10 Tubas 1 Qalqilya 3 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 67 Jericho and Al-Aghwar 51 Gaza Strip 189 and Jerusalem 40 she said.
Kailah pointed out that the recovery rate of coronavirus reached 88.1 percent while the rate of active cases reached 11.1 percent and the death rate was 0.8% of all infections.
The minister underlined that there are 40 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 11 who have been placed on ventilators.
