Mai Al-Kailah the Palestinian Minister of Health announced on Tuesday that 6 deaths 253 new cases of the coronavirus and 905 recoveries were recorded during the past 24 hours.
Kailah confirmed in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that two deaths were recorded in the West Bank: Jenin 1 Tulkarem 1 and four deaths in the Gaza Strip.
She noted that the new infections were disrupted as follows: Tulkarem 40 Tubas 5 Nablus 43 Jenin 14 Qalqilya 3 al-Khalil 19 Jericho and Al-Aghwar 3 the suburbs of Jerusalem 2 Salfit 2 Bethlehem 4 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 8 and the Gaza Strip 110.
The new recovery cases were recorded according to the following: Tulkarem 16 Tubas 5 Nablus 223 Jenin 26 Qalqilya 4 al-Khalil 57 Jericho and Al-Aghwar 1 Jerusalem suburbs 5 Salfit 2 Bethlehem 3 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 12 and Gaza Strip 551 the minister added.
Kailah said that the recovery rate of the coronavirus reached 97 percent while the rate of active infections reached 1.9 percent and the death rate was 1.1 percent of all infections.
She pointed out that there are 60 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 14 who have been placed on ventilators.
Regarding the vaccination campaign the minister noted that the total number of people who received the corona vaccine in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 275305 including 196112 who received the two doses of the vaccine.
