Mai Al-Kailah the Palestinian Minister of Health announced on Wednesday that 9 deaths 1251 new cases of coronavirus and 1159 recoveries have been recorded during the past 24 hours.
Kailah stated in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that the death cases were recorded for a male 72 from Silat al-Harithiya a 77-year-old female citizen from Jenin camp a 73-year-old man from Tulkarem a female 67 from Nour Shams refugee camp in Tulkarem another female 88 from al-Khalil and 4 citizens from the Gaza Strip.
She added that the new infections were distributed according to the following: al-Khalil (98) Nablus (178) Bethlehem (105) Qalqilya (21) Ramallah and Al-Bireh (81) Jenin (56) Jericho and Al-Aghwar (10) Salfit. (20) Tulkarem (33) Tubas (18) the Gaza Strip (600) and the suburbs of Jerusalem (31) indicating that 6128 examinations were conducted.
The recovery cases were recorded as follows: al-Khalil (81) Jenin (24) Nablus (377) Tulkarem (34) Qalqilya (13) Salfit (8) Bethlehem (229) Ramallah and Al-Bireh (48) Tubas (10) and Gaza Strip (335) she said.
The minister noted that the recovery rate of coronavirus reached 87.2 percent while the rate of active infections reached 12 percent and the death rate was 0.8% of all infections.
Kailah pointed out that there are 43 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 10 who have been placed on ventilators.
