The Israeli occupation authorities (IOA) postponed on Sunday the trial of the Palestinian prisoner Khalil Awawda to January 15.
Awawda was supposed to be released on October 2 after 172 days on hunger strike which he waged in protest against his administrative detention.
However the Israeli authorities charged him shortly before release with a phone smuggling attempt while being transferred from Asaf Harofeh hospital to Ramle prison.
He was kept detained till today and denied family visits despite his difficult health situation which he still suffered from due to the hunger strike.
