Hundreds of Palestinians marched on Saturday in the funeral of al-Qassam Brigades’ resistance fighter who died Friday in a tunnel collapse in Khan Younis in southern Gaza Strip.
Dozens of MPs and political leaders have also participated in the funeral headed by Deputy Speaker of the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) Dr. Ahmed Bahar.
The funeral procession started from the Nasser Hospital amid large participation of al-Qassam’s resistance fighters heading to the western cemetery.
The mourners chanted slogans in support of resistance option.
During the funeral Dr. Bahar stressed that Qassam Brigades is working hard for the liberation of Palestine hailing the sacrifices at the same time made by Palestinian people.
On Friday Hamas armed wing the Qassam Brigades mourned the death of 22-year-old Yousef Essam al-Agha in a tunnel collapse in Gaza.
