OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (PIC)– Sheikh Kamal Al-Khatib the deputy leader of the Islamic Movement in 1948 occupied Palestine has charged Israel was pursuing a new systematic method in storming the Aqsa Mosque.
He explained in a statement to Al-Jazeera TV network on Sunday that Israel was trying to prove its alleged “sovereignty” over the holy site and allow fanatic Jews to offer their Talmudic rituals inside the Aqsa Mosque.
The Israeli occupation forces are imposing a security belt not only on Jerusalem but on all villages of Arab majority in 1948 occupied Palestine and are blocking Palestinians from heading to the Aqsa Mosque Khatib elaborated.
He said that the Palestinians in Jerusalem are paying the price for defending the Aqsa and asked for Arab and Islamic support for those Jerusalemites to counter the growing Zionist challenges since the Aqsa Mosque is the responsibility of all Arabs and Muslims and not only the Jerusalemites.
The Islamic leader finally called on the Arab masses to act and pressure their rulers into assuming their religious and historic responsibility in defending the holy site.
