Khudari briefs Turkish president on effects of Israeli siege on Gaza

GAZA (PIC)– MP Jamal Al-Khudari the head of the popular committee to confront the siege sent letters to Turkish president Abdullah Gul Turkish premier Recep Erdogan and former Algerian minister Abdurrahman Shaiban in which he explained the negative consequences of the Israeli siege on different aspects of life in Gaza.

MP Khudari said that the letters included a detailed explanation on the negative effects of the inclusive Israeli siege on the Gaza Strip and the consequent deaths of dozens of patients and the disruption of work in the fields of industry commerce and agriculture.

The lawmaker called on the Turkish president and his premier to work hard and fast to pressure the Israeli occupation to end the siege completely on Gaza and to open the crossings in order to return life to normal in Gaza.

He also explained in a letter to Sheikh Abdurrahman Shaiban the then former Awqaf minister and now the head of the international foundation of Al-Quds in Algeria the destructive impacts of the Israeli siege on all aspects of life in Gaza.

The MP urged in a speech over the telephone hundreds of Kuwaiti students who congregated in solidarity with the Gaza Strip to support the Palestinian people and to continue their solidarity activities with the Gaza people.

Khudari finally called on the Islamic nation’s scholars to hold more symposia and events and to double their efforts calling for supporting the Strip pointing out that such popular solidarity events leave considerable significance in the hearts of Palestinians and reassure them how much the Arab and Islamic nations are sympathizing with their cause.
