Wildfires broke out at nightfall Monday after a kite was fired toward an Israeli settlement built on Palestinian land east of al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
A PIC news correspondent said that a kite with a firebolt attached to it was unleashed toward an Israeli settlement causing wildfires and damage to wheat fields.
Over recent weeks Gazans have flown kites carrying bombs and Molotov cocktails over the border in response to the crackdowns and aggressions perpetrated by the Israeli military against the Great March of Return protests started on March 30.
