The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched at dawn Thursday a large-scale raid and search campaign in different areas in the West Bank.
In Nablus two youths were detained after IOF soldiers stormed their family houses in Askar camp east of the city. Clashes erupted following the Israeli arrest and raid campaign.
In Tubas a Palestinian young man suffered gunshot injuries in his hand due the IOF firing of live bullets at the unarmed youths protesting the raid in the city.
The confrontations erupted after Israeli troops stormed and violently searched several local homes.
Similar raids were carried out in Bethlehem while at least one Palestinian was rounded up in Qabatiya.
Meanwhile an IOF unit barged into the home of the liberated prisoner Maher al-Qadi in Beitonia town in western Ramallah on Wednesday night and wreaked havoc on it before taking him away.
Local sources said that an IOF special force arrested Qadi who was released only few weeks ago from Israeli custody.
