The Hamas Movement on Friday organized a massive rally outside Khaled Ibn al-Walid Mosque in Ain al-Hilweh refugee camp in the Lebanese city of Sidon to pay tribute to martyr Ahmed Naser Jarrar and to renew allegiance to the option of resistance against the occupation.
Addressing a crowd of Palestinian citizens and national figures senior Hamas official Mohamed Abu Laila affirmed that the resistance would remain a strategic option for his Movement to protect the Palestinian rights and holy sites and frustrate all plots aimed at liquidating the Palestinian cause.
“Hamas will continue to uphold the path of resistance until the Palestinian people extract all their legitimate rights and rout the occupation” Abu Laila said.
The Hamas official hailed the courage of martyr Jarrar and described him as “a resistance icon” stressing that the sacrifices that had been made by West Bank martyrs fuel the Palestinian people’s thirst for heroism challenge and martyrdom.
