Friday 7-December-2018

Lebanese premier Saad al-Hariri on Thursday affirmed his country’s rejection of any step taken at the UN to condemn the Palestinian resistance especially the draft resolution that was submitted by the US to the General Assembly.

This came during his meeting with a Palestinian parliamentary delegation led by MP Mahmoud al-Zaahar a senior Hamas official.

Hariri also said that his government is keen on following up the living conditions of the Palestinian refugees in the country and making efforts to solve their problems.

He announced the presence of a German project worth $21 million for the developments of the Palestinian refugee camp of Nahr al-Bared.

For his part Zahhar briefed the premier on the humanitarian situation in the besieged Gaza Strip and Israel’s Judaization and settlement activities in the occupied territories of Jerusalem and the West Bank.

The two sides also discussed issues of mutual interest especially with regard to the Palestinian refugees in the country.
