MP Jamal al-Khudari head of the Popular Committee against the Siege has applauded the UN humanitarian coordinator Jamie McGoldrick for calling on Israel to allow the entry of UN-purchased emergency fuel to the Gaza Strip.
In a press release on Friday MP Khudari said that about 60000 liters of fuel purchased by the UN are urgently needed to ensure that hospitals water and sanitation services in Gaza function properly over the next four days.
He affirmed that Israel recently imposed sanctions on Gaza including a complete entry ban on all shipments of fuel raw materials and hundreds of essential goods.
