NABLUS (PIC)– Palestinian MP Mona Mansour has asked the Yemeni parliament speaker Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hussein Al-Ahmar to adopt the issue of the Palestinian MPs held in Israeli prisons.
Mansour in her cable asked Sheikh Al-Ahmar to table the issue of those kidnapped MPs at various regional and international platforms.
She said that 41 PLC members were kidnapped and are still held in Israeli prisons since June last year atop of whom came the PLC speaker Dr. Aziz Dwaik.
Mansour’s cable came at the end of a brief visit to Yemen at the invitation of the Yemeni parliament that followed her visit to Algeria where she attended a conference on Islamic participation in power.
A Palestinian PLC delegation is currently touring a number of Arab countries to explain sufferings of the Palestinian people and to demand an end to the year-long siege imposed on them.
