MP Mousa denounces Arab foreign pressures on Palestinians

Sunday 29-April-2007

GAZA (PIC)– MP Yeyha Mousa on Sunday denounced the Arab and foreign pressures on the Palestinian people to end its resistance against occupation while ignoring the incessant IOF aggressions on the Palestinians.

Mousa in a statement to PIC said “We hoped the Arab countries would pressure the Zionist enemy to halt its aggressions and massacres against the Palestinian people in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip instead of pressuring the Palestinian people”.

He said it was natural for each country under occupation to resist the occupiers until its liberation.

The Hamas lawmaker asked the Arab countries to break the siege imposed on the Palestinian people over a year ago for electing Hamas to rule them and to back their steadfastness with all means possible. He said that the Palestinians were not defending Palestine but rather the entire Arab Nation.

Noting that only four or five Arab countries had paid their financial dues to the Palestinians as endorsed in the Arab summits Mousa said that the Arab donations were very scanty and were not enough especially in the light of the economic siege that hardened the Palestinians’ lives.
