Palestinian lawmaker Hatem Qafisha has called on the Palestinian citizens to frequent the Ibrahimi Mosque to defend and protect it against Israeli Judaization schemes.
“Despite the onset of winter there is growing keenness on performing prayers at the Ibrahimi Mosque especially the Fajr (dawn) prayer” MP Qafisha said in press remarks on Friday.
He expressed his belief that the intensive presence of Muslim worshipers at the Ibrahimi Mosque reflects their strong faith and their awareness of the real dangers threatening their holy site.
Over 4000 Muslim worshipers performed the Fajr prayer at the Ibrahimi Mosque in the Old City of al-Khalil on Friday.
