AL-KHALIL (PIC)– MP Khaled Tafesh on Monday urged USA president George Bush to revise his policies in the Middle East especially in Palestine and to spare the lives of his soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan.
He asked the USA and the EU countries which are biased in favor of Israel to stop backing the culprit against the victim and appealed to them to lift the oppressive siege on the Palestinian people imposed more than a year now to punish them for electing Hamas to rule them.
Tafesh who was speaking in a meeting with a foreign delegation comprising American and European figures addressed a message to the American and European peoples saying “We are not your enemies we do not hate you … but we are against your countries’ oppressive policies against us”.
“We do not like murder or shedding blood but all what we want is to regain our rights and freedom” he elaborated.
The MP affiliated with the Hamas parliamentary bloc briefed the foreign delegates on the hardships the Palestinians are experiencing as a result of the Israeli murder destruction siege and constant attempts to force their migration from their indigenous lands.
He also explained his bloc’s views regarding the internal Palestinian conditions relations with the Hebrew state and others.
The foreign team members voiced their solidarity with the Palestinian people and expressed dismay at the oppression destruction and sabotage befalling them.
One of the speakers expressed understanding of the “repression and deprivation” befalling the Palestinians and she also condemned the “oppression and fascism” exercised against them.
