Ma’ale Amos settlers start building road in eastern Bethlehem

Monday 22-March-2021

A horde of Jewish settlers on Sunday started to build a road on lands annexed from the Palestinian village of Kisan east of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank.

Kisan mayor Ahmed Ghazal said that settlers from the illegal settlement of Ma’ale Amos embarked on building a road in the east of the village warning that hundreds of dunums of land would be annexed for this road.

Ghazal added that Israeli bulldozing activities had happened lately in the same the area pointing out that the road would connect Ma’ale Amos with the illegal outpost of Ibei Hanahal

Kisan village and its residents have been exposed recently to a frenzied demolition campaign by the Israeli occupation army while extremist settlers intensified their assaults on local shepherds.
