The Palestinian minister of health Mai al-Kaila announced on Tuesday that one death 337 new cases of the coronavirus were recorded during the past 24 hours.
The minister said in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that 247 recovery cases were recorded in the same period adding that the single death was recorded in the Gaza Strip.
She pointed out that 58 critically ill patients were admitted to intensive care units while 92 others were being treated in the West Bank’s COVID-19 sections in various hospitals including 12 who have been placed on ventilators.
The recovery rate of the coronavirus reached 98.2 percent while the rate of active infections reached 0.8 percent and the death rate was 1 percent of all infections the minister said.
She pointed out that the total number of people who received the corona vaccine in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 2952356.
