The Palestinian minister of health Mai al-Kaila announced on Friday that six deaths 330 new cases of the coronavirus were recorded during the past 24 hours.
The minister said in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that 260 recovery cases were recorded in the same period adding that three deaths were recorded in the Gaza Strip two in al-Khalil and one in Bethlehem.
She pointed out that 55 critically ill patients were admitted to intensive care units while 83 others were being treated in the West Bank’s COVID-19 sections in various hospitals including 16 who have been placed on ventilators.
The recovery rate of the coronavirus reached 98.2 percent while the rate of active infections reached 0.8 percent and the death rate was 1 percent of all infections the minister said.
She pointed out that the total number of people who received the corona vaccine in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 2981940 including 2159415 in the West Bank and 822525 in the Gaza Strip.
