The Israeli occupation police on Saturday evening stormed Issawiya district in east Jerusalem and savagely attacked Palestinian citizens.
According to local sources police forces stormed Al Mahmoud neighborhood in Issawiya and carried out violent raids on different homes which provoked clashes with local youths.
The police physically assaulted citizens and used pepper spray and tear gas during its campaign in the neighborhood.
The Red Crescent said its ambulance crews hospitalized and provided on-site medical assistance for many wounded citizens after their exposure to police attacks.
One of those citizens was a pregnant woman who suffered from her exposure to tear gas fumes.
Two citizens suffered eye injuries after being attacked with pepper spray while four others suffered from rubber bullet injuries.
Many others also suffered from the effects of tear gas and received instant medical help.
Meanwhile local sources said the Israeli police kidnaped a citizen called Saadi Mahmoud and his sons Ahmed and Mohamed from their home in Issawiya.
Earlier in the morning police forces raided homes in different areas of east Jerusalem and kidnaped several Palestinian citizens including teenagers after they used fireworks to celebrate the release of high school matriculation exam scores.
