A group of Palestinian pressmen on Sunday afternoon staged a peaceful march in protest at Israeli violations against journalists as part of the events of World Press Freedom Day.
A press conference was held before the march kicked off from al-Bireh city towards the city’s northern entrance “Beit El”.
The speakers of the conference condemned the Israeli crimes against Palestinian journalists saying that they are committed by political orders.
They referred to the most recent Israeli crime of killing two journalists Yaser Murtaja and Ahmad Abu Hussein who were murdered while covering the marches of return in Gaza Strip.
Naser Abu Baker head of the Journalists’ syndicate pointed out that efforts are being exerted in order to hold Israeli officials accountable for such crimes at international courts.
