AMMAN (PIC)– Head of Hamas’s political bureau Khaled Mashaal congratulated over the phone the Jordanian premier designate Awn Al-Khasawneh on the occasion of being selected to form the new government of Jordan.
According to the Jordanian newspaper Al-Rai on Wednesday Khasawneh received a telephone call from Mashaal who wished him every success in choosing the members of the new cabinet.
The newspaper noted that member of Hamas’s political bureau Mohamed Nazzal passed on good wishes from Hamas Movement to the new premier during a visit to his home in Amman.
It added that Mashaal according to Hamas officials was supposed to visit Jordan on Wednesday accompanied by Qatari crown prince Sheikh Tamim Al Thani but the visit was postponed for logistical reasons.
