Saturday 28-October-2017

A horde of Jewish settlers wearing masks on Saturday morning attacked Palestinian farmers working on their land and injured two of them in an area east of Yatta city in the West Bank province of al-Khalil.

Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that masked settlers from Havat Ma’on outpost stormed an agricultural area near Khirbat Tawana hamlet east of Yatta and assaulted famers from the family of Rab’iee as they were collecting olives from their grove.

According to the sources the settlers unleashed dogs on the farmers which triggered a fist fight between the two sides.

Two Palestinians including a woman from the family of Rab’iee suffered injuries as a result of the settlers’ assault.

Later Israel security and military forces rushed to the area to provide protection for the settlers who embarked on throwing stones at the farmers to force them to leave their grove.
