Mushir al-Masri Hamas Movement official has warned the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) of the consequences resulting from pressuring Hamas prisoners in Israeli jails.
Masri urged in a press conference on Thursday all the Palestinian prisoners to unite in the face of the IOA practices to display the Palestinian unity against oppression and injustice.
The Israeli ploys are well known to the Hamas Movement and its armed wing the Qassam Brigades especially those who are in charge of Israeli prisoners file according to Masri.
Masri also said that the IOA methods of resorting to the UN or pressuring Hamas’s prisoners will not get it any closer to its prisoners.
The time factor will not help the IOA in freeing its prisoners since Gilad Shalit was imprisoned for five years and freed only after acquiescing to Hamas’s conditions Masri underlined.
In the same context Abdulrahman Shadid the Asra (Prisoners) Media Office head said “The Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails are seeking their dignity and freedom.”
Shadid held the IOA responsible for the deterioration of the prisoners’ conditions while asking the Palestinian Authority to activate the issue of prisoners at all international forums.
